Magnet therapy
Magnet therapy is painless, simple, without side effects and reactions if adequate magnetic fields are used during treatment. A magnetic field must not exceed 80 mT i.e. 800 Gauss when treating a body part for more hours or days.
How magnets work: The intensity of AKMA magnets (acupuncture magnets) that are built into our products is 60mT i.e. 600 Gauss. They affect iron in hemoglobin and improve circulation. They also affect white blood cells which are a natural factor for healing. Adequately oriented ions ease circulation and improve tissue respiration. All physical and mental functions in the body are controlled by electromagnetic fields produced by the movement of ions in the body.
Magnets have a positive effect on the immune system and they also reduce swellings and relieve pain. The process of phagocytosis (devouring pathogens) is expedited by leukocytes’ increased speed and energy, especially by the polarization of T-lymphocytes. Inflammations are dealt with very quickly this way, but it is even more important that the immune system is boosted against malignant cells. The syndrome of chronic tiredness which occurs because of the immune system’s cells’ low magnetic field is also treated in this way. In case of injury or damaged tissue, positive ions move towards the injured area and cause pain and swelling. Through the application of a magnetic field to the injured area normal electromagnetic balance is restored. Magnetic fields relax capillaries, surrounding muscles and connective tissues. In this way they enable an increased blood flow which relieves pain and inflammations and stimulates faster healing. The effects of magnetic fields are particularly strong when it comes to bone fractures. A magnetic field creates electric fields which improve the healing of bones.
The World Health Organization has recognized the stimulation of bioactive points in 1979 as a method which yields results. Bioactive points are nerve endings on the surface of the body – skin.
Traditional medicine attempts to invigorate a vital organ (gallbladder, heart, liver, thyroid gland, kidney,…) through stimulation so that it functions normally. A magnetic field creates a dipole on blood cell membranes which leads to ion reorganization so that blood elements become electropositive on the outside. This enables uninterrupted motion without collisions and directing of motion through blood vessels’ lumen. This way of moving is much faster and it does not only prevent collisions and platelet clots, but it also reduces LDL-cholesterol buildup and the buildup of other substances upon the cholesterol. In this way the process of atherosclerosis is significantly decelerated.
That is why magnet therapy can be applied to all blood vessel diseases (hypertension, angina pectoris, heart attack, stroke) and also to many other diseases which cause complications in blood vessels (such as diabetes).
